About Us

The Happy Dog Project is a partnership that originated between a small group of volunteers who saw the need to advocate for the many abandoned and abused animals in Los Angeles, California (CA) and our northern counterparts of compassionate fosters in Massachusetts (MA). These two groups are led and inspired by two courageous, strong women, Michelle Lewis and Staci Colby. They started a community of kindness in an effort to save animals and give them a better life.

Tatiana has been involved in animal rescue for over 10 years. She resides in Webster Parish with her 3 dogs, 2 cats and also has a small community cat population she cares for. She always has fosters too. She is a whirlwind, is “hands-on” and gets things done even with a full-time job outside of rescue.
